He graduated with his Family Practitioner degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2013 and performed his residency locally through the AHEC of Texarkana.

"Being able to listen to my patients develop a plan of care and assist them to a better quality of life is what I love about my profession,” Matt said. He treats patients 6 years old and up and manages conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, etc. Other modalities include DOT physicals, work and school physicals, stem cell and PRP injections. He is a provider in 16 different insurance companies, and he accepts Medicare.

As a medical professional, Matt began this year by going to a stem cell convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then he has been collecting information and putting together the process of injecting stem cells for damaged and painful joints. He explains, “This is an option to try before surgery, has a much faster recovery time, and it is a procedure that I do in the office. I believe stem cells and regenerative medicine are going to have a huge impact on the future of medicine."
